Black Masculinity (Re)imagined helps Black men and masculine folks learn new strategies to connect, cope and care for themselves and each other while dismantling patriarchy and supporting collective Black mental health.

How do I attend a training?

BEAM offers the training virtually and in person multiple times a year. It can be held in a 101 introductory session or in a month-long immersion with 4-5 (2 hour) sessions.
You can see our calendar here. You can also request private training for your organization, church, or school.

How much does it cost?

Special rates are available for non profits, grassroots movements and corporations. Email: Training@beam.community to learn more. 

Can Non-Black people attend?

BMR, unless otherwise noted, is specifically for Black men and masculine people (cis and trans) including Black masculine women and Non-binary folks

Will I get a certificate?

Yes! All individuals who complete the 101, or full program will receive a certificate.

Is there evidence of this training effectiveness?

Yes! BMR has a two year evaluation that was supported by the Blue Shield Foundation of California. Please see our evaluation page.
